    The Climate Change and Energy Section in the British Consulate General-Guangzhou is part of the Climate Change China Network established in 2007 in the British Embassy and Consulates across China. Directly reporting to the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the section works closely with local governments, institutions, NGOs and businesses to deliver joints projects and policy consultation in climate change and energy areas. Our objective is to contribute to South China's ambition to lead China's reform and development through exploiting the advantages that a Low Carbon High Growth (LCHG) economy can bring.

    The Business Environment Council    
    The Business Environment Council (BEC) is the longest running independent, private-sector non-profit organization in Hong Kong promoting corporate social and environmental responsibility. Set up by business for business in 1989, BEC offers sustainable business solutions covering baseline assessment, advisory, research, training and award programs for companies across all sectors and at any stage of their corporate sustainability journey. Headquartered in our own building in Hong Kong, we have additional offices in Beijing and Shenzhen. Over the past two decades BEC has expanded to a network of 20,000 companies with a combined market capitalization of HK$3 trillion and 1 million employees.     Carbon Markets Association    
   

The Carbon Markets Association (CMA), formerly London Climate Change Services, is an international trade association representing service providers to the global carbon market.

The CMA was formed to represent businesses at the cutting edge of the services sector working to reduce carbon emissions through the market mechanisms of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Kyoto Protocol. It was created to ensure the progressive business voice is heard - market-friendly climate change policy creates new business opportunities.

The CMA has more than 40 member companies including: financial institutions, carbon funds, project developers, lawyers, accountants, verifiers, emissions brokers and IT firms. We aim to promote growth and stability in the carbon market and to enhance competitiveness in the climate change sector.
 
         
    ESCI    
    The European Supply Chain Institute is an international member body whose mandate is to research technologies and business practises that can have a direct positive impact on supply chains globally. The Institute is heading up the new international research initiative, the Supply Chain Carbon Council that was launched in September 2007. The Carbon Council is a multiyear programme whose remit is to build a framework for all stakeholders in the Supply Chain to work from in their Carbon Management initiatives.     Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC)    
   

Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC) was established in 1990 supported by Environment Agency (currently Ministry of the Environment) of Japanese Government for the promotion of international cooperation in a non-governmental position.
OECC envisions through the direction of environmental issues and the incorporate movements in political, economic, and social field under the progress of international mutual dependence in the 21st century. And then, OECC is to contribute to promote the conservation of global environment in terms of research study, personnel training and supporting non-government activities under the international cooperation with many countries.
Many of activities are funded and achieved in line with the environmental policy of the Ministry of the Environment, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), etc. These accomplishments are thus utilized for policy making of international environmental cooperation and execution of environmental cooperative projects.
 
         
    Taiwan Emission Trading Association (TETA)    
   

Taiwan Emission Trading Association (TETA) is the leading organization in Greenhouse Gas emission reduction industry in Taiwan. It is a non-profit environmental organization established in 2005. The ultimate goal for the organization is to reduce GHG emission through the establishment of a carbon trading platform in Taiwan.

Member of TETA include worldwide corporations, economists, contractors, academics researchers and institutions, financial investment groups, representatives from various industries, and those who are interested in GHG reduction and carbon trading issues.

    IEEPA is composed of IES established in America and related international environmental science research universities and colleges, international energy conservation or environmental protection organization, and some experts with international approval which are combined by IES, and has set up branches or representative offices, or has reached international cooperation in America¡¢England¡¢Singapore and Beijing China; IEEPA is a global association which is important in the world and is entirely devoted to maintaining energy conservation and environmental protection construction, human existence and sustainable development¡­

    "Union of the Electricity Industry - EURELECTRIC" is the professional association which represents the electricity industry at pan-European level, plus its affiliates and associates on other continents. EURELECTRIC seeks to contribute to the competitiveness of the electricity industry, to provide effective representation for the industry in public affairs, and to promote the role of electricity in the advancement of society.

China Venture-capital Investment Institute is engaged in venture-capital investment, it is a professional investment organization of venture-capital fund management, and also it is an organization of industry coordination.

As founder, The World Chinese-business Investment Association is made up elite enterprise of the whole world. China Venture-capital Investment Institute concentrates on venture-capital investment developing in the China. As organization of industry coordination, Institute provides an interface of information exchange and cooperation with each other between venture-capital investment organization of the whole world and domestic enterprise. And also it provide a capital market interface for venture-capital investment organization withdraw successfully so that industry of the venture-capital investment will be better able to develop in the China future.

Our Vision
JUCCCE is a non©\profit NGO that aims to accelerate the use of clean and efficient energy in China, creating visible change within 10 years. Because without a sustainable China, there can be no sustainable world.

Our Approach
Unlike the United States, where solving the energy problem is largely a policy issue, going green in China is primarily a human resources issue. A massive new energy workforce must be built ¨C at an unprecedented pace and scale ¨C to implement China¡¯s ambitious green policies. JUCCCE focuses on education, collaboration, and deployment strategies that enable this workforce to act quickly and smartly. Our initiatives are designed to have high impact and be economically sensible.

  
         
    Global Environment Centre Foundation (GEC)    
   

Global Environment Centre Foundation (GEC) was established in 1992 to make use of the abundant accumulation of knowledge and experience in Japan in the field of environmental conservation. In particular, it makes use of knowledgeable groups and individuals in the Kansai region in order to support contributions of UNEP-DTIE-IETC (International Environmental Technology Centre) in the field of urban environmental management in developing countries. Thus, GEC promotes international cooperation around environmental conservation, and aims to make substantial, practical contributions to the protection of the global environment.
In addition, GEC has been serving as a secretariat of ¡°CDM/JI Feasibility Study Programme¡±, commissioned by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, since 1999. The purpose of the programme is to explore promising CDM/JI projects, and to provide the information to project developers and policy makers. Through this programme, GEC contributes to sustainable developing countries and climate change mitigation in developing countries.

  • Providing general support for activities of UNEP relating to urban environmental management in developing countries
  • Undertaking research which contributes to the conservation of the global environment, with particular emphasis upon urban environmental management in developing countries
  • Collection and dissemination of information which contributes to the conservation of the global environment, with particular emphasis upon urban environmental management in developing countries
  • Conducting of training programs, seminars, and symposia which contribute to conservation of the global environment, with particular focus upon urban environmental management in developing countries
  • Facilitating communications with international organizations, governmental organizations, and research organizations in various countries, in order to contribute to conservation of the global environment
  • Any other activities necessary to achieve the mission of GEC
