The Carbon Markets Association (CMA), formerly London Climate Change Services, is an international trade association representing service providers to the global carbon market.
The CMA was formed to represent businesses at the cutting edge of the services sector working to reduce carbon emissions through the market mechanisms of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Kyoto Protocol. It was created to ensure the progressive business voice is heard - market-friendly climate change policy creates new business opportunities.
The CMA has more than 40 member companies including: financial institutions, carbon funds, project developers, lawyers, accountants, verifiers, emissions brokers and IT firms. We aim to promote growth and stability in the carbon market and to enhance competitiveness in the climate change sector. |

Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC) was established in 1990 supported by Environment Agency (currently Ministry of the Environment) of Japanese Government for the promotion of international cooperation in a non-governmental position.
OECC envisions through the direction of environmental issues and the incorporate movements in political, economic, and social field under the progress of international mutual dependence in the 21st century. And then, OECC is to contribute to promote the conservation of global environment in terms of research study, personnel training and supporting non-government activities under the international cooperation with many countries.
Many of activities are funded and achieved in line with the environmental policy of the Ministry of the Environment, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), etc. These accomplishments are thus utilized for policy making of international environmental cooperation and execution of environmental cooperative projects. |

Our Vision
JUCCCE is a non©\profit NGO that aims to accelerate the use of clean and efficient energy in China, creating visible change within 10 years. Because without a sustainable China, there can be no sustainable world.
Our Approach
Unlike the United States, where solving the energy problem is largely a policy issue, going green in China is primarily a human resources issue. A massive new energy workforce must be built ¨C at an unprecedented pace and scale ¨C to implement China¡¯s ambitious green policies. JUCCCE focuses on education, collaboration, and deployment strategies that enable this workforce to act quickly and smartly. Global Environment Centre Foundation (GEC) was established in 1992 to make use of the abundant accumulation of knowledge and experience in Japan in the field of environmental conservation. In particular, it makes use of knowledgeable groups and individuals in the Kansai region in order to support contributions of UNEP-DTIE-IETC (International Environmental Technology Centre) in the field of urban environmental management in developing countries. Thus, GEC promotes international cooperation around environmental conservation, and aims to make substantial, practical contributions to the protection of the global environment.
In addition, GEC has been serving as a secretariat of ¡°CDM/JI Feasibility Study Programme¡±, commissioned by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, since 1999. The purpose of the programme is to explore promising CDM/JI projects, and to provide the information to project developers and policy makers. Through this programme, GEC contributes to sustainable developing countries and climate change mitigation in developing countries.

- Providing general support for activities of UNEP relating to urban environmental management in developing countries
- Undertaking research which contributes to the conservation of the global environment, with particular emphasis upon urban environmental management in developing countries
